People on the Move: Suzanne Nance, CEO

An independent nonprofit classical station broadcasting from the heart of Portland, OR, All Classical Radio is consistently ranked in the top 3 stations in the USA. Nance has overseen numerous accomplishments as CEO since 2017, including the launch of a 24hr second radio station for children: the International Children’s Arts Network (ICANradio.org), the award-winning Recording Inclusivity Initiative, artist residencies, youth mentorship, and the station’s move to state-of-the-art custom-built headquarters at KOIN Tower in downtown Portland (July 2024).

Nance is an award-winning broadcaster and arts ambassador whose career has included roles at WFMT Chicago, WHYY in Philadelphia, Aspen Public Radio, and Maine Public Broadcasting where she created the Emmy Award-winning series MaineArts! Suzanne is driven by her commitment to providing access for all to the arts and education.
